Purpose of this Association:
1. To improve and maintain quality of life for residents of West Sechelt.
2. To promote community spirit and pride among West Sechelt residents.
3. To monitor District of Sechelt Council and Sunshine Coast Regional
District Meetings and/or Minutes for items or issues relating directly
or indirectly to the welfare of the residents of West Sechelt.
4. To protect the environment & foster good stewardship in West Sechelt.
5. To co-operate with other organizations whether incorporated or not, which have objectives similar in whole or in part, to the objectives of the society.

Membership in the Association shall be limited to those who reside within the area defined as "West Sechelt Community Association". Each household property is entitled to only one vote. In the event that a member owns multiple properties they are still entitled to only one vote.
Membership in the Association shall be open upon payment of membership fee and may be terminated by a majority vote at a meeting of Directors for non payment of annual dues or for gross non compliance of the Bylaws.
Every member shall uphold the Constitution and comply with the Bylaws of the Association. Bylaws of the Association are available to all members.
