Charlotte Mallory

I came to the Sunshine Coast 18 years ago to be the Director of Action: Alcohol and Drug Counseling Society where I worked until I retired June 2003.  At that point I continued to work as a carf surveyor of addiction, mental health and family service agencies for another 18 months. From there I moved onto the Employment Centre for 2 1/2 years.  I have served on the board of Arrowhead and am currently Treasurer of the West Sechelt Community Association.  I remain very involved politically in my community with my focus on homelessness.

Donna Perry

Donna  with husband Art and their two children, moved to the coast from Port Coquitlam in 1975.  She has lived in Halfmoon Bay, Selma Park and West Sechelt.

After working as a bookkeeper/executive assistant  for Secret Cove Marina  for several years  and working  in the office for Art's contracting business, she opened Family Bulk Foods and Delicatessen on Cowrie Street in 1985.  After many successful years in business, she sold the store and a few years later joined the The Coast Reporter as head of the Accounts Receivable department.

Now retired, she is the proud grandmother of two grandchildren Riley and Jessie who live nearby in West Sechelt.

Past director of Halfmoon Bay Recreation  Commission, Welcome Beach Association, convener of the County Fair of Halfmoon Bay and the Mother's Day Breakfast.  Volunteer for Canadian Cancer Society and M.S. Society.   Past member of the Sechelt Seniors.

Gail Riddell

Gail is in her eighth year of living on the Coast. She puts her
concerns about sustainability to work in a variety of ways
through the West Sechelt Community Association board.  She has
been directly involved in committees and boards at the local
Cap U campus for over ten years. When not
volunteering, she sings in a choir, attempts to play guitar,
gardens, travels, paddles/coaches with two dragon boat teams,
kayaks, spends summer times at her remote cottage and is
often in Vancouver with family and friends.  Before moving to
the Coast, Gail was at UBC for 23 years, running a teaching
enhancement centre for faculty and graduate students.
